A Greenhouse is a two-year guided ecosystem where 4–12 people explore the hidden parts of themselves with Jesus and trusted friends.
Through honest conversation, spiritual practices, and shared life, members become more like Jesus from the inside out over time.
A Greenhouse is not a class, Bible study, or traditional small group. It is something deeper: a place for people who sense there must be more and are ready to explore the inward journey.
A Greenhouse is designed for people who sense there must be more to life with God. You may feel an unease you cannot quite explain, recognize that familiar approaches to discipleship are no longer producing growth, or find yourself asking deeper questions about God, yourself, and the life beneath the surface.
This season can feel disorienting, but it may also be an invitation. Jesus may be drawing you inward—not away from faith, but toward a more honest and integrated relationship with Him.
A Greenhouse is especially suited for people who are:
Able to make space for the time and relationships the journey requires.
Longing for meaningful transformation rather than more information alone.
Willing to explore their inner lives with Jesus and trusted friends.
A Greenhouse is a two-year guided transformational ecosystem where people explore the deeper places of their lives with Jesus and trusted friends. It creates the time, practices, community, intimacy, and instruction needed for meaningful formation to unfold slowly and honestly.
Members do more than discuss spiritual ideas. They begin noticing the hidden ideas, desires, stories, and wounds shaping their relationships with God, others, and themselves. As these deeper places are brought into the light, Jesus meets them there and increasingly re-forms them through His love.
A Greenhouse is not therapy, a class, a Bible study, or a traditional small group. It includes Scripture, prayer, spiritual practices, and authentic relationships, but its primary purpose is formation rather than information or support alone.
A Greenhouse follows a two-year journey through six interconnected Layers. The journey is not a rigid sequence or a curriculum to complete. Each Layer builds upon the others as members become more aware of what is shaping them beneath the surface and increasingly open those places to Jesus.
Over time, hidden ideas, desires, stories, and wounds are brought into the light. Through relationship, experience, and trusted community, Jesus gradually re-forms these deeper places and leads members toward greater freedom, wholeness, and life with Him.
Members gather around several formative rhythms:
A Greenhouse provides a steady rhythm of time and relationship in which formation can unfold gradually. Members journey together for two years, allowing trust, self-awareness, and deeper connection with Jesus to develop over time.
If you sense there must be more to life with God and believe a Greenhouse may be right for you, we would love to hear from you.
Greenhouses are designed for people who are available, hungry, and open to exploring their inner lives with Jesus and trusted friends. Because each Greenhouse requires the right facilitator, members, and timing, submitting your interest does not guarantee immediate placement. We collect interest throughout the year and will contact you as future opportunities become available.
Thank you for your interest in facilitating a Soil & Roots Greenhouse.
A Greenhouse is a two-year transformational ecosystem in which 4–12 people journey together into deep discipleship. Facilitators do more than guide conversations; they themselves participate in the inward journey while helping to cultivate a community marked by attentiveness, curiosity, purpose, trust, and openness to Jesus.
This application helps us determine whether a conversation about facilitating may be a good next step. It should take approximately 10 minutes. Applicants who move forward will be interviewed and later asked to provide two letters of reference.
Men and women may serve as facilitators. Greenhouses may be composed of men, women, or both.
PLEASE NOTE: All required fields must be completed for the form to be submitted. When completed correctly, you will see a short message confirming its submission. If you don’t see that message, make sure all fields marked with a red asterisk are completed and re-submit.
